Assistant Accountant - Temp - Production

Do you have strong experience in AP and AR looking to start a Temp role with an immediate start (short notice)?

Have you worked in a hands on role in a fast paced environment, ideally media SME?

A fab Media Company with various revenue streams in production and post-production are urgently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to help them work through a backlog in transactional finance. This is predominantly an AP and AR based role, you need to be able to handle a high volume of work, be able to investigate and look at historical data to resolve queries.

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts. • Manage accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, follow-up on overdue accounts, and processing of incoming payments.• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.• Assist with VAT preparation and returns.• Perform daily scheduled bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
